So there I was at the lovely Dawnhaven B&B in Auckland, zoning out with a bit of jetlag, when all of a sudden these things come flying past the window. I peer out, and...there are ducks in the pool. I had to take a few minutes to stop laughing.
The B&B is fabulous, by the way, and is my number one recommendation for anybody needing an overnight after coming into Auckland airport. Here's the view from the deck:
